At FLIGHT! Journey 2 Excellence, we’re more than just a tutoring and therapy center—we’re a mother-daughter team providing an integrated support system designed with families in mind. We’re dedicated to helping young learners thrive through personalized tutoring and specialized pediatric speech therapy. Our goal is to make it easier for parents to access the academic and developmental support their child needs—in one trusted place.

I’m Carla D. White, M.Ed. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education with teacher certification and an ESL endorsement from the University of Houston-Downtown, as well as a Master's in Educational Administration with principal certification from Houston Baptist University. I’ve served as an assistant principal, student success manager, teacher specialist, reading interventionist, and classroom teacher. I bring a strong leadership and instructional background that allows me to support young learners academically while nurturing the whole child.

I’m Morgan White, CCC-SLP, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in Global Disorders, from the University of North Texas, and my Master of Science in Speech Pathology from the University of the District of Columbia. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including public and charter schools, home health, pediatric outpatient clinics, ABA clinics, and through telehealth. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, compassion, and a belief in every child’s potential to thrive.

Together, we bring nearly two decades of combined experience in education and therapy—and a shared mission: to help every child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
